Transmission Fluid Service & Flush

Transmission fluid does quiet, critical work, and on a high-output exotic the wrong fluid or a skipped interval is expensive. We perform a proper transmission fluid service — drain, fill, and filter where applicable — to the manufacturer's specification for your gearbox.
What a transmission fluid service involves
- Drain and refill with the manufacturer-specified fluid
- Filter replacement where the transmission uses one
- Level and condition check, plus a scan for stored faults
- Road test to confirm shift quality after service
“Flush” vs. drain-and-fill: the honest version
Most modern exotic gearboxes (dual-clutch, PDK, and many automatics) are designed for a drain-and-fill with the correct fluid and filter, not a high-pressure machine flush, which can be inappropriate for these units. We do what the manufacturer specifies for your transmission and tell you straight which it is.
Why it matters
Dual-clutch, PDK, and torque-converter automatics all carry a published fluid interval. Old, contaminated fluid is a leading cause of harsh shifts and expensive mechatronic faults. Servicing on schedule is far cheaper than the repair it prevents.

Frequently asked
Do dual-clutch and PDK transmissions need a fluid change?
Yes. Dual-clutch and PDK gearboxes have a published fluid and filter interval, and skipping it is a common cause of expensive faults. We use the exact specified fluid.
Is a transmission flush safe for my exotic?
Usually the manufacturer specifies a drain-and-fill (with filter) rather than a pressurized machine flush, which can be inappropriate for dual-clutch and PDK units. We follow the maker's procedure for your specific transmission.
How often should transmission fluid be changed?
It depends on the gearbox and how the car is driven; most exotics specify an interval in years or miles. We advise based on your model's schedule and how the car is used.
