Ferrari Pre-Purchase Inspection

Buying a Ferrari is the moment you most need an independent set of eyes. Our pre-purchase inspection is a multi-hour mechanical, cosmetic, and documentation review that tells you exactly what you are buying, before you wire the deposit.
What the Ferrari PPI covers
- F1 clutch wear read directly from transmission data (F1-equipped cars)
- Cam-belt service history on belt-driven cars (355, 360, F430) vs. chain cars
- Sticky/degrading interior trim, a known issue on the 360, F430, 599, and California era
- Exhaust manifold and header cracks (common on the 360 and F430)
- E-diff, F1 pump and actuator health, and engine/gearbox leaks
- Carbon-ceramic rotor wear measured by weight, plus a full scan and road test
Era matters on a Ferrari
A belt-driven 360 with an unknown cam-belt history is a very different buy from a chain-driven 488. We inspect to the specific concerns of your model and year, not a generic checklist, and tell you what's due and what it will cost.
Buying from out of state?
Many of our Ferrari PPIs are for buyers shipping a car listed in South Florida. We inspect, photograph, and document thoroughly so you can buy with confidence from anywhere.
Frequently asked
